Launching the Stacktrace Podcast

Together with Gui Rambo, I’m super excited to launch the Stacktrace podcast — a brand new bi-weekly show about discussing Apple news & rumors from a developer’s perspective! You can find the show here, or on Overcast here:

For a long time I’ve wanted to do a podcast about discussing what’s going on with Apple and their rumored plans & new products. But I didn’t simply want to start yet another Apple speculation podcast (there’s so many great ones out there already). Also, if you’ve been following my work, you know that I love to get into technical details as much as possible.

One day, as I was listening to a couple of different shows, I noticed how all of them were discussing new Apple product details that were initially revealed by Gui on Twitter. So I started thinking — “Why doesn’t Gui just have his own show, where he can actually discuss these details?”. Combining this thought with my long standing desire to do an Apple news-focused show, I hit Gui up on Twitter and simply asked him if he wanted to make a new show together.

The result is Stacktrace — a bi-weekly show (although, with your support, we’d love to start doing it weekly at some point), on which we’ll discuss all of the exciting new rumors and news about Apple, but with a lot more technical details than what other shows do. That’s not to say that our show will be better than others, not at all, it’ll simply be from a different perspective — something I hope many people will enjoy as a complement to what’s already out there.
